Perika is the most scientifically advanced St. John's Wort extract on the market. The subject of breakthrough research, the patented Perika extract is the first to contain an effective amount of “hyperforin”, the active ingredient responsible for the mood supporting effectiveness of St. John's Wort.
Dosage: 1 tablet three times daily.
Ingredients: 300mg patented, std St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum) extract (3% hyperforin).
Precautions: Not recommended during lactation, caution during pregnancy. Contraindicated for concurrent use with Warfarin, immunosuppressant drugs, HIV medications, Digoxin and chemotherapy drugs. Caution in concurrent use with Amitriptyline, oral antihistamines, benzodiazepines and simvastatin (Lipex). Avoid excess exposure to UV radiation (eg. Sunlight, tanning beds) when using St John’s wort. Discontinue use at least 3 days prior to general anaesthesia. Keep out of reach of children. Always ask your health professional if there are any specific precautions regarding your use of this or any supplement.
